First steps

Create your account, set up your shop, share your page.

  • How do I create my Slooti account?

    Go to slooti.app, click «Try Slooti» and create your account with your email and a password. You start immediately, no credit card required — billing only kicks in when you pick a paid plan.

  • How do I configure my shop (name, logo, opening hours)?

    In the dashboard, go to Settings → Shop. Set the name, address, logo, timezone and language. For opening hours, it's under Settings → Booking (hours + slots per day).

  • How do I add my team?

    Settings → Team → «Add an employee». You can set the role (admin / employee / reception), individual schedules, and services they can perform. Each one gets an invitation link by email to activate their access.

  • How do I share my booking page?

    Your public page is available from account creation at slooti.app/booking/your-slug. Paste it in your Instagram bio, print it as a QR code, or embed it on your existing site via an iframe.

02 · Calendar

Calendar & appointments

Create, move, cancel, manage absences.

  • How do I manually create an appointment?

    In the Calendar, click on a time slot (or tap on a slot on mobile). Pick the client (or create one), service, employee. The appointment is confirmed instantly and the client gets a confirmation email if you've enabled notifications.

  • How do I move an appointment?

    On desktop: drag-and-drop the block to the new slot (15-min grid). On mobile: tap the appointment → «Edit» and change the time. The client is automatically notified of the change.

  • How do I manage closures and time off?

    Settings → Team → pick the employee → «Closures» tab. You can block an entire day or specific time ranges (e.g. recurring lunch break). For shop-wide closures, see Settings → Booking.

  • How does the waitlist work?

    When a slot is full, clients can join the waitlist from your public page. You see the list in Calendar → «Waitlist» button. If you free up a slot, you can notify the list in one click.

03 · Checkout

Checkout & payments

Take payment, gift vouchers, loyalty, accounting export.

  • How do I check out a client?

    Go to Checkout → select the client (or a walk-in), add services and products. Choose the payment method (cash, card, bank transfer, gift voucher). The receipt is emailed and the accounting entry is created automatically.

  • How do I create a gift voucher?

    Checkout → «Gift voucher» → enter the amount, recipient, and optionally a message. The voucher is generated with a unique code and emailed. At checkout, the client presents the code and the balance is decremented.

  • How does the loyalty program work?

    Settings → Loyalty → enable the program and choose the rule (e.g. 1 point per CHF, 100 points = 10 CHF discount). Points are credited automatically after each checkout. The client can use them at checkout as partial payment.

  • How do I export my accounting?

    Reports → «Accounting export» tab → choose the period, then export as CSV or PDF. The file contains all transactions with VAT, payment method and category. Perfect for your accountant.

04 · Booking

Online booking

Public page, themes and visual customisation.

  • How does my public page work?

    Your clients go to slooti.app/booking/your-slug, pick a service, an employee (or «no preference»), a slot, and confirm. They get a confirmation email and a link to cancel/reschedule if needed.

  • How do I customize the appearance (theme, font)?

    Settings → Booking → «Appearance» tab. Pick from 8 themes (Sharp, Barber, Ink, Linen, Sage, Blush, Bloom, Clay) and 6 typography variants. The rendering shows live in the built-in preview.

05 · Clients

Clients & marketing

Campaigns, promotions, GDPR.

  • How do I run a re-engagement campaign?

    Settings → Marketing → «New campaign». Pick a segment (inactive clients since X days, loyal clients, birthdays…), a channel (email or push notification), a message. The campaign goes out immediately or at the date you schedule.

  • How do I create a promotion?

    Settings → Promotions → «New promotion». Choose the discount (% or fixed amount), the services covered, the validity period, and optionally a promo code. The promo shows on your public page and is applied automatically at checkout.

  • How do I handle GDPR with my clients?

    Slooti applies GDPR by default (RLS, encryption, log anonymisation). Your clients can request their export or deletion from their account (or by emailing you). You'll find these actions on the client file → «Personal data».

06 · Account

Account & billing

Plan, invoices, cancellation, password.

  • How do I change my plan (upgrade / downgrade)?

    Settings → Billing → «Change plan». The new price is prorated for the current period. No commitment period — you can switch up or down at any time.

  • Where do I find my invoices?

    Settings → Billing → «Invoices» tab. Each invoice is downloadable as PDF (VAT included, compliant with Swiss invoicing). They're also emailed to the billing address at each due date.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    Settings → Billing → «Cancel subscription». Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period (no prorata refund, save for legal cases). Your data stays available for 90 days after cancellation for export, then is deleted.

  • I forgot my password / can't log in anymore.

    Write to hello@slooti.app with the email of your account — we'll trigger the reset and you'll receive a link to set a new password. Also worth checking your spam if you're expecting an email from Slooti and it doesn't arrive.
